Sameer Parpia

Dr. Sameer Parpia is an Associate Professor and Biostatistician in the Departments of Oncology and Health Research Methods, Evidence, & Impact at McMaster University. He is the Lead of the Collaborative Unit Biostatistics and Evidence (CUBE and the Director of the Canadian Network for Statistical Training in Trials (CANSTAT), a pan-Canadian platform to train and mentor biostatisticians in clinical trials. Dr. Parpia's research interests are in the design, conduct and analysis randomized clinical trials and has served as the lead biostatistician for large multi-centre trials. He teaches and mentors students in clinical trial methodology and applied biostatistics in the Health Research Methodology Program at McMaster University
